Good afternoon Ray Community,
Thank you so much for four amazing days! We have loved having all our Ray Warriors back at school! We want to also thank you for your patience with us as we worked to make the arrival procedures safer for our students. CPS has changed our student transportation to minivans and taxis this year instead of school buses. Given this, we will be reopening Kimbark Ave for arrivals and dismissals starting Monday, August 29th. Please be aware the side of the street closest to the school on Kimbark Ave. and on 56th Street are No Parking Zones from 7:00 am until 4:30 pm. on school days. You can receive a ticket for parking in these areas and as we have more students being driven to school, we will be monitoring the parking rules. There is no parking on the school side of Kimbark Ave or 56th Street during school hours. If you are dropping your students off at school, please be mindful that they get out on the curbside. As always, the staff at Ray School is working to make this the safest environment for your student. Thank you again for your patience and understanding!
