Math Students will apply their knowledge of volume concepts to calculate the volume of a building, use estimation and number sense to predict the relative size of decimal products and quotients, learn two strategies for solving decimal multiplication problems, and solve multi-step number stories. Monday- Home links 6-6 Tuesday- Home links 6-8 Wednesday- Home links 6-9 Thursday- Home links 6-10 Social Studies We will be studying Westward Expansion and the American Frontier. Every Friday we study current events.

Second Step Theme: Accepting Differences Reading This week's reading log's will be due Monday 3/12. Students are expected to read for 30 minutes every night. Students will write a summary about their reading that evening. Math Students will take their unit 5 exam on Friday. Students will also be learning how to solve fraction multiplication number stories, and how to solve fraction division problems. Monday- Home links 5-12 Tuesday- Home links 5-13 Wednesday- Home links 5-14 Thursday- Study Guide Social Studies We will be studying the organization of the American government and the American Frontier. Every Friday we study current events. |
