Social Studies 5th This week students will compare and contrast the patriots, loyalists, and neutrals during the American Revolution. We will read our class novel "Guns for General Washington." Every Friday students will learn about world wide current events. SS.H.3.5. Explain probable causes and effects of events and developments in U.S. history Social Studies 6th This week students will study Hinduism and Hindu deities. Every Friday students will learn about world wide current events. SS.G.2.6-8.MC. Evaluate how cultural and economic decisions influence environments and the daily lives of people in both nearby and distant places SS.G.3.6-8.MC. Evaluate the influences of long term human-induced environmental change on spatial patterns of conflict and cooperation. Science 315 Students will learn about coding and explore coding assignments. We will also analyze the plants in the garden. We will hypothesize, collect data, sketch, and make predictions. Matter cycles between the air and soil and among plants, animals, and microbes as these organisms live and die. Organisms obtain gases, and water, from the environment, and release waste matter (gas, liquid, or solid) back into the environment. (5-LS2-1)
