Reading This week's reading log's will be given to students Monday 1/28 and will be due MONDAY 2/4. Students are expected to read for 30-45 minutes every night. Students will complete an activity related to their reading each night. Math Students will begin Unit 5 and we will study equivalent fractions, common denominators, and add and subtract fractions and mixed numbers. In an effort to spread positivity around the school, student council will be selling poems and candy bags ($2). Don’t miss out, send your children to school with money so that they will be able to purchase items to either give to friends at school or simply buy for themselves. The more money your children are supplied with, the more items they will be able purchase. All proceeds go to funding for graduation festivities at the end of the year. Student Council will be collecting the money with orders on the week of February 1st - 8th. We will ONLY take orders that week! Deliveries of poems and candy will be made to students on Valentine’s Day, February 14. Thank You, Student Council Note from Ray PTO -- Raise a Glass for Ray School! The band is back! Join us for a night out at The Promontory on Thursday January 31, 2019 from 6-8 pm featuring a performance by We, Unity Candle, Ray parent Nate Bakkum's incredible band! Child care (for ages 5+) provided by Hyde Park Neighborhood Club (HPNC) from 5:45-8:30 pm for $20/child + $10/sibling, including dinner and fun! Please note that the day following the event, Friday Feb 1, is a non-attendance day for students. All children must be registered with HPNC by 5 pm on January 31st.
