At roughly 12 pm, the school office was notified by CPD that students should not leave the building as they looked for an armed robbery suspect in the neighborhood. A few minutes later, officers came to secure the building. With their support, we did a brief full-building lockdown as a safety precaution to ensure our building was safe. We also kept all recess indoors during that time. By 12:45, CPD let us know that the suspects were apprehended. We want to assure you that all students were safe during the process and remain safe. As always, our teachers and counselors were available for any students who may have been impacted during this event. Thank you for your support, -Megan & Gayle

In an effort to spread positivity around the school, student council will be selling poems and candy bags ($2). Don’t miss out, send your children to school with money so that they will be able to purchase items to either give to friends at school or simply buy for themselves. The more money your children are supplied with, the more items they will be able purchase. All proceeds go to funding for graduation festivities at the end of the year. Student Council will be collecting the money with orders on the week of February 1st - 8th. We will ONLY take orders that week! Deliveries of poems and candy will be made to students on Valentine’s Day, February 14. Thank You, Student Council |
